2. Trademarks and Intellectual Property
2.1 VEDA CARAT, the Veda Carat logo and the Lifetime Upgrade Promise™ are trademarks or trade names of Veda Carat. The ™ symbol shows that we claim the mark as a trademark. It does not mean the mark is registered. [Update to ® only after registration in that country.]

3. Product and Certification Disclosures
3.1 Laboratory-grown diamonds. The diamonds we sell are laboratory-grown. They are real diamonds with the same chemical composition, crystal structure and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are not mined, and they are not diamond simulants such as cubic zirconia or moissanite. We identify them as laboratory-grown wherever we describe them, in line with the US FTC Jewelry Guides, Canadian Competition Bureau guidance and UK consumer protection law.
3.2 Grading certificates. Certificates are produced by independent laboratories. We do not control their grading standards. A certificate describes the stone at the time of grading and is not a valuation or appraisal.
3.3 Precious metal marking. Gold and platinum pieces are marked to the standard required in the country of sale. Karat marks (such as 14K) and carat marks (such as 9ct) describe gold purity. In the UK, hallmarking by an Assay Office applies where legally required.
3.4 Appearance. Colors, sizes and proportions shown online are for guidance. Natural variation in handmade jewelry is normal.
4. No Financial, Valuation or Investment Advice
4.1 Nothing on this website is financial, investment, tax or valuation advice. Jewelry is bought to be worn and enjoyed. We make no statement about the future resale or market value of any piece.
